Testimony and other ministries:
- At the age of nine years Tom began questioning his mother about something that seemed to be missing in
his life. Shortly after that, Jesus filled that void.
- In the 60’s he sang, under the leadership of his Dad, with his two brothers in The Richerson Quartet in
West Tennessee area.
- In the early 70’s he served as Music Director of Sharon Woods Baptist Mission while stationed at
Plattsburg Air Force Base in upstate New York.
- In late 70’s Tom was Music Director at Whitten Memorial Bapt. Church in Memphis, TN
- In early 80’s he sang bass with The Jubilaires from Jackson, TN
- In mid to late 80’s he served as Minister of Music at Highland Park Baptist Church in Jackson where he
presently serves as a deacon.
- In the late 80’s he helped form a new group with Larry called One Accord and they sang together into the
late 90’s.
- During this time he worked with his daughters and a friend’s daughter to develop a trio called “Wings.”
- Throughout the 90’s Tom has served as Interim Minister of Music twice for a few months at Meridain
Baptist, North Jackson Baptist, and Westover Baptist Church for over 9 years.
- In the late 90’s Tom was blessed to be one of four guys that would be placed together as only God could.
- These guys are known as “The Father’s Four.”
